How Funk Busters Got Started
After 8 years working in water mitigation, structural drying, and mold remediation with reputable local companies, I saw firsthand how devastating odor problems can be for Tallahassee families — and how few good solutions existed. Ozone treatments required evacuating the home. Chemical sprays just masked the problem. Enzyme cleaners worked sometimes, on some surfaces, temporarily.
As a resident of the greater Tallahassee community for over 37 years, I knew these were my neighbors dealing with these problems. So I made the decision to branch out on my own and bring professional hydroxyl odor remediation to Tallahassee and the surrounding areas — a safe, permanent solution that my years in the industry told me this community genuinely needed. Funk Busters is the result of that decision, and I'm proud to serve the place I've called home my entire life.
